What Are Gospel Sundays?

A new way of doing church and being part of a community. Gospel Sundays are biweekly events for people not into conventional church. They are like worship services or masses but with elements of a party or concert, in a less traditional setting. No church buildings, hymn books, organs, or pews to make your butt sore! There’s less cheese and definitely no perfect people, ugly politics, “holier than thou” attitudes or judging allowed – check those at the door, or show yourself to the door. Tattoos, piercings, no problem. Addictions and mistakes in life... welcome to the journey. We’re just into loving God and love others. We’re after relevancy and real experiences when it comes to faith in Jesus. We’re not into religiosity, rules’ sake, institutionalism, stale traditions or close minds.

Gospel Sundays are also for people who want to know what it’s like to rub shoulders with the pound for pound greatest Man of all time (a.k.a Jesus), and to explore faith in Him in a non-forceful way with open minded strangers and friends. These events are also meant to help us dig into the Bible through a short, relevant, inspirational message.

Why the Bible? Although it’s the best seller of all time, it’s definitely one of the hardest books to understand. It is however, full of gold nuggets from God that give direction in life, kind of like a spiritual Google map. These events are for everyone whether 2 or 92, as longas you’re open minded to God and a fresh new way of doing church.
