More Than 12 is seeking other churches from various denominational and ethnic backgrounds to partner with us to establish this church. If all goes well with More Than 12 potentially being launched out of the Point Grey Community Church and UTown Church organization, which is part of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, but in partnership with one or more other churches.
Point Grey Community Church (PGCC) / UTown Church (UTown)

The church would be birthed out of PGCC, and therefore PGCC would be the primary partner. Furthermore, the Holy Spirit, as a part of More Than 12's story, has used both Pastors Lawrence and Greg as catalysts to initiate and to support ongoing development of the church plant. This involved former PGCC Pastor Jeff, his wife Lil, others from PGCC as well as other churches, and possibly UTown in the near future. PGCC and UTown have also heavily influenced theology and methodology of More Than 12, especially in regards to the Holy Spirit, team leadership, worship, arts, graphics and multimedia. Jeff has also been meeting and praying with the PGCC Elders on a regular basis.
Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC) - British Columbia / Yukon District

In November 2007, the BC / Yukon District Leadership Team of the PAOC approved a proposal to be a partner of this church plant, and are contributing some finances to Jeff's support, as well as supporting More Than 12 with prayer and resourcing.
Other Partners
We are currently praying about future partners that may contribute with people, prayer, finances or donate equipment. We are especially searching for partnerships with Asian churches that would help start the church plant to be more multi-ethnic right from the beginning stages. Potential partners interested, please contact the planting Pastor, Jeff Wong at 604.725.9283. |
