What Are Gospel Sundays?

They are monthly, soon to be biweekly, events like worship services or masses but in the form of a party, in a less traditional setting.  These events are ideal for people uninterested in or uncomfortable with conventional church services or masses.  But why in the form of a party?  Jesus often frequented parties.  In fact the first miracle He ever did was turn water into wine at a party when the wine ran out (John 2:1-11).   Also the New Testament church initially met together at dinner parties in houses (Acts 2:46-47).  Gospel Sundays are events that people can use as their church service or mass if they don’t currently have one, or use it to supplement their existing one, so they can continue the celebration.  And for anyone who would like to be part of a church community but doesn’t have one, they are welcome to adopt More Than 12 or any other church in the city.  Gospel Sundays also point people towards God, kind of like a spiritual Google map.  They even serve as a way for some to begin a journey of discovery with God.  Got to start somewhere, right?  These events are also meant to foster community.  These events are for everyone and for all ages.  So if you’re 2, or 92, it’s all good, as long as you’re open minded to God and other people and like a good party!

Videos & Photos

There have been a number of people who have asked if the event will be caught on video, so they can experience it from other places in the world. We're thinking, why don't we let you the people capture the event with both video and photos according to your own perspective. Feel free to use your cameras, mobile phone cameras and camcorders throughout the night.

Then send us the videos and photos that you took and we'll compile them and make them available to everyone on the www.morethan12.org Website and the "MoreThan12" Facebook group.

There are a few ways to upload or send us the media you will produce:
1. Upload it to the "MoreThan12 " (no spaces) Facebook group.
2. Upload it on www.morethan12.org website.
3. Email to videos@morethan12.org or photos@morethan12.org either links to places online where you uploaded the videos and photos (eg: YouTube.com, Flikr.com, etc.) or you can email us the actual files if the total size does not exceed 100 MB, or it will take us forever to download.
